Wolfe Industrial Auctions was founded in 1978 by the late Gail Wolfe. Following Gail’s passing in 1984, Charles (Randy) Ruby purchased the company from Cathy Wolfe and built it into one of the leading auction firms in the Northeast, specializing in heavy equipment and commercial trucks.
With the rise of the internet, Wolfe Industrial Auctions expanded its reach nationwide and internationally, earning a reputation for excellence, reliability, and integrity.

After 34 years of cultivating strong relationships within the auction community, Randy Ruby passed away in 2018. Today, his oldest son, Charles Ruby Jr., and grandson proudly continue his legacy — maintaining Wolfe Industrial Auctions’ commitment to exceptional customer service, honesty, and professionalism.
